Cally - our head florist - has been involved in retail since she was a Saturday shop girl at a local flower shop. Since then, she trained for her city guilds at Pershore College, where she won Junior Teleflorist of the Year for wedding cake-top decorations. She has also worked at other florists in order to gain experience. Cally enjoys whatever challenge she is given as she loves the job and prides herself in everything she does, from floristry to customer service.

At Orchids Corner we have organsied our own Bridal Farye in Cookley Parish Hall .

Events that Orchids Corner Florists has organised for the Villagers of Cookley has been Halloweene party's , Disco's , Wild west with treasure hunt and BBQ for all the family , 1950's cafe back in time , Table top sales , Quiz nights , and many more .

Orchids Corner Florists of Cookley , Have also advertised on The Wyre Radio based in Kidderminster . when the radio station first went live . We went on many breakfast show's with Rob the D.J and Joined them on their road shows too .We shared plenty of laughter and fun . We sponsered the birthday flower bouquet of the day which were given to the lucky listeners .

Village Events that Cally helps to organise .

Wolverley Village May Day you will always find Cally on our Orchids Corner Florist stall , We make , design and sell the fresh head dresses . To help to keep May Day tradition alive . We also donate the flower head dresses for the Princesses and the Queen . To make the young girls feel special we decorate a willow chair with flowers on the day .

Wolverley Village Carnival you will always find Cally on either a game stall , crafts for children stall , or participating in one of her bands that she plays in . (Stourport Scout and Guiding marching band ) Or ( The Severn Valley Samba Band ) .
